Biography

Mark Wayne Adams is an author, illustrator, and publisher of children’s books. His mother was a public librarian and sparked his appreciation of books. Most everything he learned during childhood about drawing and writing was inspired by a library book.

After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drawing from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, Mark moved to Central Florida. He worked for Walt Disney World, SeaWorld Orlando, was an art director, and managed a commercial printing company. For the past decade, Mark has been writing, illustrating, and publishing award-winning K–8 books as well as presenting in schools. He also served as President on the Florida Authors & Publishers Association Board of Directors. Mark Wayne’s published books have been awarded over 100 book awards.
